To complete the online renewal, you must have the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Mozilla or Google Chrome installed.

It is the responsibility of a NC licensed engineer or land surveyor to review and attest to the renewal prior to its submittal. No one may sign for the licensee.

All Firm licenses expired as of June 30, 2024. All firms are now required to pay a renewal fee of $175.00, which includes a reinstatement fee of $100.00. Credit Cards accepted are Visa, Mastercard or Discover. To renew the firm's license, click the link below and follow the online renewal directions.

After the online renewal is submitted and a payment method is chosen, the firm must send an email to firms@ncbels.org notifying the Board that it has submitted a late online renewal. Failure to send an email may result in a delay of the firm getting renewed.

License numbers have 6 characters. The firm license number begins with a “C”, “F”, “D”, or “P”. For example, C-1234. It is NOT your individual license number.
PINs have 5 digits.
